Tirupati Temple: Cancellation of special darshans..!?
The Devasthanam has announced that the special darshans in tirupati will be canceled from tomorrow due to navratri Pramotsava festival. Special buses will be plying from various parts of tamil Nadu to tirupati from today in view of the commencement of navratri Pramotsava festival.

Every day thousands of devotees visit the Eummalayan temple in tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The number has increased manifold after the beginning of the month of Puratasi, which is auspicious for the Seven Hills. As the month of Puratasi is coming to an end on Saturday, devotees from all over the country are thronging there. In this case, navratri Pramotsava festival is celebrated in tirupati temple from 15th to 23rd. In view of this, Ankurarpanam will be held tomorrow and flag hoisting will be held the day after tomorrow.
It is expected that the number of devotees coming to tirupati from tomorrow on the occasion of Pramotsava festival may increase further. Heavy crowding is also likely. In order to avoid this, the regular services offered to the devotees, V.I.P. All special darshans, including break darshan, special darshans offered to senior citizens, persons with disabilities and those accompanying children below one year of age have also been cancelled. The Devasthanam hopes that this will reduce the waiting time of devotees who come for free darshan. It is believed to help more devotees to have darshan of Swami. Garuda Seva is held annually at 7 pm in the Eummalayan temple. According to the rules of the coming 19th Agama, Etummalayan is going to ride on the 4 storied streets at 6.30 a.m. before 30 minutes. Rs.300 online special darshan tickets and arjitha seva tickets for the month of january will be released online on 24th.
