Palani Murugan temple Kumbabhishekam: Bookings!!!

 

On Jan 27th, Kumbabhishekam is going to be held at the palani Murugan temple, the third of the six houses of Lord Muruga. There is great anticipation among the devotees as the Kumbabhishekam is taking place after about 16 years. Devotees are especially eager to attend the Kumbabhishekam and have the darshan of Lord Muruga. 

In this situation, a notification has been issued by the temple administration. It is stated that:- Devotees have been provided with free online reservations for attending palani Murugan temple Kumbabhishekam to be held on Jan 27th. Only 2,000 of the pre-booked devotees will be allowed to participate in the Kumbabhishekam. So you can book 3 days from Jan 18th to Jan 20th to attend Kumbabhishekam at www.palanimurugan.hrce.gov.in and www.hrce.tn.gov.in.

For this you have to provide Aadhaar Card, Passport, Ration Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, bank Book and details like mobile number, email address etc. Devotees will be selected through a 21-day draw. The selected devotees will be informed on the 22nd through e-mail and SMS. Those who have received this information can come to Velavan Hotel, palani R.F. Road on 23rd and 24th with a copy of the certificate for uploading and get a free ticket. Free tickets can be availed only from 10 am to 5 pm on the above 2 days. Tickets cannot be issued to those arriving after the specified time. With this ticket, you can go to the mountain temple only through the steps. It does not apply to services like Ropecar, Electric Traction rail etc.
