₹316 crores insured for Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations. The Vinayagar Chaturthi festival body in mumbai has taken an insurance policy of Rs 316 crore for the Ganapati Mandal. This cover includes ₹31.97 crores for gold, silver, and other valuables. Apart from this, ₹263 crores of personal insurance have been covered for pandals, volunteers, priests, cooks, shoe shop staff, parking lot attendants, and security guards.
GSP Seva Mandal, one of the Vinayagar Mandal groups in Matunga, mumbai, has taken an insurance sum of ₹316.40 crore for the upcoming Ganapati festival, PTI reported. Regarding this insurance, Vijay Kamat, President, GSP Seva Mandal located in Kings Circle, mumbai said that they have covered the Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations for 10 days, starting on Wednesday. God's jewelry, valuables, Mandal members, staff, and devotees attending the Vinayagar Puja are also covered.
The insurance worth ₹316.4 crore includes ₹31.97 crores for gold, silver, and other valuables and ₹263 crores for personal cover for pandal, volunteers, priests, cooks, shoe shop staff, valet parking persons, and security guards. Furniture, appliances, computers, CCTVs, scanners, etc. An insurance of ₹1 crore with earthquake risk and fire and special perils policy is also taken for the equipment.They take responsibility for the safety of every devotee who comes for puja.
