According to the Saudi Arabian media, the translation of the Arafa Day sermon, which is one of the holy days of islam, has been extended to four languages, including Tamil, out of 10 languages already.
Abdul rahman Al-Sudais, Head of the General Leadership of the Two Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina, said that the message of Islam's moderation and tolerance will be announced to the world using modern technology, Arab news reported.

The Arafat Day Sermon delivered at the Al Nimra mosque in Mecca has been translated and broadcast in different languages of the non-Arabic world for the past five years.
In addition to ten languages already being translated into English, French, Malay, Urdu, Persian, Russian, Chinese, bengali and Turkish Hausa, Tamil, Hindi, Spanish and the African language Swahili have been added this year. Sudhais said.
Al-Sudais said that this translation benefited 10 lakh people in the first year, 1 crore 10 lakh people in the second year, 50 lakh people in the third year, and 10 crore people in the fourth year.
