ICRISAT 50th Anniversary Celebrations begin. 

At 5 pm, the prime minister will dedicate the Statue of Equality in hyderabad to the nation.

It is one of the most important institutes in the field of agriculture and innovation. 

Samatamoorthy is going to participate in the 'statue of equality' statue of Sri Ramanujacharya at 5 pm.

The 216-foot-tall statue of equality was erected in memory of the 11th-century spiritual guru Sri Ramanujacharya. 

Ramanujacharya promoted the idea of equality in all aspects of life, including faith, caste, and religion. 

The Panchaloha idol is made of a combination of five metals gold, silver, copper, brass, and zinc. 

It is one of the tallest seated metal statues in the world. 

It is mounted on a 54-foot high base building and is called the 'safe platform'. 

The statue has floors dedicated to the Vedic wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">digital Library, Research Center, Ancient indian texts, theater, and an educational gallery detailing Sri Ramanujacharya's works. 

This idol was created by a small Swami of Sri Ramanujacharya Ashram.

The program will also feature a three-dimensional presentation mapping on the life journey and teaching of Ramanujacharya. 

The prime minister will also visit the 108 Divine Lands (ornately carved temples) around the Statue of Equality. 

Ramanujacharya worked tirelessly for the betterment of the people in the spirit of equality for all human beings irrespective of nationality, gender, race, caste, and creed. 

The inauguration of the Statue of Equality will take place as part of the 12-day Sri Ramanuja Millennium celebrations to mark the 1000th birth anniversary of Ramanujacharya.

Prior to the visit, the prime minister will inaugurate the 50th anniversary celebrations of ICRISAT. 

The prime minister will also launch the ICRISAT Climate Change Research Facility on Plant Care and the ICRISAT Rapid Generation Advancement Facility. 

Both facilities are dedicated to small farmers in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. 

The prime minister will also unveil a logo specially designed by ICRISAT. 

The prime minister will also unveil a commemorative stamp issued on the occasion. 

ICRISAT is an international organization that conducts agricultural research for agriculture, innovations, and their development in Asia & Sub-Saharan Africa. 

 Helps farmers by providing better crop varieties and hybrids, and also helps smallholder farmers in drylands fight climate change.

Talsi srinivas Yadav, minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development and Cinematography, on behalf of the state government, will welcome prime minister Narendra Modi to the city today to attend various functions in Hyderabad. 

The prime minister will arrive at shamshabad Airport on a special flight from delhi at 2.10 pm. 

On his way back to delhi, minister Talsani srinivas Yadav will bid farewell to the Prime Minister.
