Shehla Rashid, a former student leader from JNU and a prominent figure in kashmir politics, has been garnering attention for expressing praise towards the central government and prime minister Narendra Modi. In response to queries on whether she plans to join the bjp or contest lok sabha or rajya sabha elections, Shehla Rashid posted on social media platform X, stating, "Friends, I've found peace. That's enough for a lifetime. #ShukranModiJi."

In another post, she commended the change in Kashmir's situation, recalling the restrictions during the Prime Minister's visit in 2011, and contrasted it with the current scenario where people can access 5G, broadband, and run social media campaigns during Modi's speech. She expressed gratitude to PM Modi for transforming the destiny of kashmir, acknowledging the fruits of peace that the younger generation has experienced for the first time under his leadership.


Shehla Rashid had previously praised PM Modi in an interview with news agency ANI, stating that the administration is well-intentioned, and the prime minister remains unfazed by criticism. She characterized Modi as a selfless leader working for the national interest.
