Former Member of parliament Sivasamy has said that if former chief minister J. jayalalithaa were alive today, she would have immediately expelled party members who presented bouquets and welcomed actor-politician Vijay.

He made the remarks while speaking about internal discipline and loyalty within the All india Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).

Sivasamy emphadata-sized that strict discipline was a defining feature of the party during the leadership of J. Jayalalithaa. He suggested that any deviation from party loyalty would not have been tolerated under her leadership.

He further stated that the AIADMK remains a strong political force, noting that even if one person leaves the party, many others join.

According to him, “If one person exits, 100 people enter—that is the strength of this movement,” highlighting continued public support for the party.
