Trust Vote Sparks Political Controversy in tamil Nadu

The political atmosphere in tamil Nadu has intensified following the confidence vote held in the State Legislative assembly in support of the TVK government. The developments surrounding the vote have triggered sharp reactions from opposition leaders and alliance parties.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai, DMDK General Secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth raised serious questions regarding alleged behind-the-scenes political negotiations linked to the trust vote.

“People Will Not Accept Horse-Trading”

Premalatha Vijayakanth strongly criticised what she described as “horse-trading politics” during the confidence vote. Referring to recent political movements and meetings, she questioned:

“Who was the person who went to Vijay’s house covering their data-face? people will never accept horse-trading politics.”

Her remarks appeared to hint at secret political discussions and alleged attempts to influence support during the assembly trust vote.
