Dubbed the ‘Golden Line’, the new corridor is set to feature 8 stations and 3 interchange points, aiming to improve connectivity across South Delhi.

The corridor will link key residential and commercial hubs, reducing travel time and easing congestion on existing lines. The interchange stations will provide seamless transfers to other metro lines, enhancing the overall efficiency of the network.

The project is part of delhi Metro’s ongoing efforts to expand its urban transit footprint, promote public transportation, and support the city’s growing commuter needs. Officials stated that the construction will incorporate modern engineering techniques and state-of-the-art infrastructure, ensuring safety and passenger convenience.
