“Who are you to interfere in family life?” Owaisi to Bhagwat
AIMIM chief asaduddin owaisi strongly opposed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s recent statement suggesting that every indian family should have three children.
Owaisi argued that such an idea imposes an unnecessary burden on indian women, who have their own priorities and rights.
He questioned: “Who are you to interfere in the family life of people?”
Attack on RSS and Modi Government
Owaisi accused the RSS and its affiliates of promoting and spreading anti-Muslim hatred.
He alleged that during prime minister Narendra Modi’s tenure, hostility against Muslims has been institutionalized.
He reminded that Bhagwat had earlier made remarks calling Muslims “stolen goods” and “Mughal emperor’s children.”
Census & population Argument
Owaisi cited the 2011 Census, highlighting that:
The Muslim population growth rate is declining, recorded at 14.23%.
The Hindu population remains about 80% of India.
He argued that Bhagwat’s call for “three children” was unnecessary and politically motivated.
Question on Double Standards
Owaisi accused the RSS of double character—claiming not to attack religious communities, but indirectly targeting Muslims through ideology and campaigns.
He also questioned: “Who is organising Dharm Sansads, calling for massacres of Muslims and violence against women?”
Call for Political Change
Owaisi appealed to the public to reject bjp in the upcoming elections.
He stated that people should not allow bjp leaders to retire voluntarily but instead force them into political retirement through democratic means.
He expressed hope that India’s democracy would act against the politics of hate and work towards inclusivity.
