CM Devendra Fadnavis's claim in conversation with Morgan

maharashtra chief minister devendra fadnavis, while talking to US-based business company Morgan Stanley, laid out the entire blueprint for the development of the state. He spoke in detail about the transformational development journey of the state. The cm said that he is preparing a plan for developed Maharashtra. He said that india is moving towards becoming a 5 USD trillion economy, and under this, a roadmap has been prepared to make maharashtra a 1 trillion dollar economy by 2030.

In a conversation with Morgan Stanley, cm devendra fadnavis said, "We have made a road map to make maharashtra a 1 trillion dollar economy. I think last year we crossed the half trillion mark. Among all indian states, we are closest to achieving the target of a trillion dollar economy by 2030. For this, we have formed an economic advisory council under the chairmanship of the chairman of Tata Sons. Roadmap for developed maharashtra ready- Fadnavis

He further said, ''The Economic Advisory Council comprised 20 CEOs from various sectors and it worked for about 9 months. It has actually prepared a road map to make maharashtra the first trillion dollar economy. It has told us the investment strategy, focus areas and how to accelerate our development. After this report, we have appointed Niti Aayog's state avatar 'Mitra' to monitor the implementation of the economic development plan.''

'Targets set to implement schemes'           

cm fadnavis said, ''We have already started implementing the plan, which focuses on infrastructure, new industries, strategies for financing infrastructure and many other things. This includes social sector, how to invest in agriculture, how to do value addition in agriculture, etc. So a complete plan is being made. We have set targets to implement these schemes.
