The Silent Struggle: Hindus Cornered in the Name of Secularism
Democracy, a concept rooted in equal representation and freedom, has been grotesquely distorted. For some, it seems to mean allowing Muslims to flood the streets, disrupting daily life, while Hindus are coerced into locking themselves indoors. The fear of retaliation, violence, and political correctness has shackled the Hindu community, stripping them of their basic rights to celebrate and express their faith openly.
Secularism, which should be the bedrock of impartiality and fairness, has been weaponized against Hindus. The same authorities who clamp down on Hindu festivals and rituals under the guise of noise pollution and public safety suddenly turn a blind eye when other communities engage in disruptive practices. From loudspeakers blaring prayers at odd hours to public demonstrations that paralyze entire neighborhoods, the double standards are glaring and undeniable.
Hindu festivals like holi and diwali data-face endless restrictions—curfews, noise limits, and environmental regulations. Meanwhile, processions and gatherings from other communities are not only tolerated but often facilitated by the administration. The so-called secular fabric of the nation has become a smokescreen to suppress Hindu identity while appeasing others for political mileage.
This blatant hypocrisy has not gone unnoticed. The Hindu community is awakening to the reality that their heritage and traditions are under siege. They are beginning to question the narrative peddled by those in power and are demanding accountability for the erosion of their cultural rights.
The demise of this twisted version of democracy and secularism is not a loss but a liberation from the shackles of appeasement and bias. It is time for true equality and justice to prevail, where every community is treated with the same respect and freedom.
Cry louder, they say. But the voices of truth and justice will not be silenced. The resurgence of Hindu pride and unity is inevitable, and no amount of political maneuvering can suppress the spirit of a civilization that has withstood the test of time.
