In a video statement released by Azmi's office, the Samajwadi party leader claimed that he had not said anything wrong but withdrew the remarks made outside the assembly to ensure smooth functioning in the House. He said, "Still I was suspended." What did Abu Azmi say? Azmi had said that during Aurangzeb's reign, India's data-border extended to afghanistan and burma (Myanmar). The mla claimed, "Our GDP was 24 percent (of world GDP) and india was called the golden bird."
