Tejashwi Yadav's first reaction after presentation of the budget...
This year, the Nitish government presented a budget of Rs 3 lakh 17 thousand crores, in which many announcements have been made regarding the development of Bihar. While bihar Chief minister Nitish Kumar patted Samrat Choudhary on the back regarding the budget, leader of Opposition in the house Tejashwi Yadav termed this budget as a speech read with the ink of lies and jumlas on government pages.
'People yearning for basic amenities'
He said, the ground reality is that bihar is still yearning for basic amenities, leave alone modern facilities. The government is unable to generate revenue but is increasing the budget. They are worried about saving the chair and the government, but we are worried about saving and building Bihar. The bihar government has today read the budget speech written with the ink of lies and jumlas on government pages. The ground reality is that bihar is still yearning for basic amenities, leave alone modern facilities.
Tejashwi on not announcing freebies
Tejashwi Yadav said that "BJP people hate bihar, they hate Bihar. Look at how they treat the people of Bihar. Tell us what all they gave to gujarat and why not to Bihar". Migration, unemployment and poverty which is the most in Bihar. There was no discussion on that. How will food processing be done. How will factories be set up. IT policy and what happened in our government is what is mentioned. Nothing new. We had argued that 65% women are victims of anemia. Nothing was said on that. We had said that 200 units of electricity will be free, but that too was not done.
The budget is of three lakh seventeen thousand crores, the government is not getting revenue so three lakh seventeen thousand crores is inflated. If they had to exaggerate, they could have given five lakh crores. The Center treated bihar step-motherly. bihar is a laggard in terms of literacy. There was no talk of setting up factories or employment anywhere.
