maharashtra chief minister devendra fadnavis on sunday dismissed speculation of a 'cold war' between him and deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde. On the contrary, he mocked shiv sena UBT mp sanjay raut, saying that he wants to compete with the great screenwriters Salim-Javed. cm devendra fadnavis was addressing a press conference with Deputy Chief Ministers Shinde and ajit pawar after a cabinet meeting and a traditional tea party ahead of the four-week budget session of the assembly starting on Monday. The maharashtra cm said, "There is no war. Those who know both of us will know what we do when we are together." He also said that all the allies of the ruling Mahayuti (BJP, shiv sena and ncp Ajit) are working together.

We changed chairs after the election- Shinde

shiv sena Shinde chief Eknath Shinde said that after the grand victory of the Mahayuti in the state elections last year, the first proceedings of the house for the budget session will be of the new government. Shinde said, "All that has happened is that fadnavis and I have changed our chairs. Only Ajit Pawar's chair is the same." In fact, before the maharashtra assembly elections, Eknath Shinde was the chief minister of the state and fadnavis was posted as Deputy Chief Minister. ajit pawar retorted to this statement of Shinde and said, "If you could not save your chair, what can I do?" On this, all three started laughing loudly.

No ban on the decision of Shinde government- CM

devendra fadnavis dismissed reports which claimed that he has stopped the decisions taken by his predecessor. He said, "I have not stopped any decision taken by Shinde."

fadnavis rejected Sanjay Raut's claim

The chief minister and his colleagues also rejected the claim of shiv sena leader sanjay raut that Shinde had met Union minister Amit Shah in pune at 4 am and complained against Fadnavis. Shinde said that Shah is the leader of the BJP-led NDA. Pawar said that it was a courtesy meeting at 10 am. fadnavis said that he was also present in the meeting. Raut had claimed in his weekly column 'Rokhthok' in shiv sena mouthpiece 'Saamana' on sunday that this meeting was held on february 22 at a hotel in Koregaon Park, Pune. He claimed that Shinde, the leader of 57 MLAs, had to wake up till 4 am to meet Shah.
