A bus full of passengers returning from Prayagraj after bathing in Mahakumbh (Maha Kumbh 2025) turned into a ball on the agra Lucknow Expressway. There were 53 passengers in this bus, out of which 52 passengers were evacuated safely. In this incident, a passenger on the bus died due to burning. According to the information, a double-decker bus suddenly caught fire on the agra Lucknow Expressway in Matsena police station area of Firozabad. Seeing the flames rising in the bus, there was a panic among the driver, conductor and passengers, the passengers got out in time.

On receiving information about the fire in the bus, Deputy district Magistrate of firozabad Sadar Tehsil Satyendra Kumar and Additional Superintendent of police Nagar ravi shankar prasad as well as Shikohabad CO praveen Kumar also reached the spot. The police and administration team started relief and rescue work. Out of the 53 passengers on the bus, 52 passengers were evacuated safely.

One passenger died in the fire incident

According to the police, the accident happened around 4:00 in the morning. Passengers from Nagaur district of rajasthan were returning after bathing in maha Kumbh from Prayagraj. Meanwhile, a fire suddenly broke out in the bus due to short circuit at stone number 41/200 of Agra-Lucknow Expressway. The fire spread in the bus in no time but before that all the passengers were evacuated safely. There were 53 passengers on the bus but one person was left sleeping inside the bus due to which this passenger died by burning in the bus. The deceased passenger has been identified as Pawan Sharma, resident of Nagaur, Rajasthan. According to the police, Pawan's family members were also on the bus. Panchnama of everyone is being filled and sent for post-mortem.
