AAP raises questions on PM Modi's visit to maha Kumbh...
Voting is to be held in delhi on 5 february, but meanwhile aam aadmi party has raised questions on prime minister Narendra Modi's decision to take maha Kumbh bath in Prayagraj on the same day. AAP spokesperson Anurag Dhanda said that PM Modi's visit to maha Kumbh on this day could be a part of election strategy and this raises serious questions. Anurag Dhanda said, "When voting is going on in delhi, prime minister Modi will take maha Kumbh bath. This makes it clear that this is a well thought out plan, because this day is electorally important." He alleged that bjp is trying to take political advantage of religious sentiments. However, no official response has come from bjp on this yet.
'Kejriwal will also go to Mahakumbh, but after voting'
When ABP news asked Anurag Dhanda whether delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal will also go to Mahakumbh for bathing, he said that kejriwal is planning to go to Mahakumbh with his family after february 5. He said that kejriwal will also go to Mahakumbh, but he will not go like this like the Prime Minister.
Relationship between Mahakumbh and politics
Mahakumbh is considered to be the biggest religious event in the world, where crores of devotees come to bathe. So far, lakhs of devotees have bathed in the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. The presence of big leaders in religious events during elections has always been in the news. Even before this, in many elections, leaders of bjp and other parties have been participating in religious events, due to which the opposition parties have been accusing them of doing 'religious politics'.
election Commission's eye?
This statement of AAP has come at a time when only a few hours are left for voting in Delhi. In such a situation, the question is also arising whether the election commission will consider PM Modi's visit to maha Kumbh as a violation of the code of conduct or not. At present, there has been no clarification from the bjp on this issue, but in view of the delhi elections, this controversy may increase further.
