Akhilesh said that just saying that the accident happened due to VIPs is unfortunate. The government itself was distributing cards, whereas cards are never given. Those who lost their lives did not get the card, they came with religious sentiments. They were not associated with the Kumbh because of any government. It is the government's responsibility. bjp cannot deny this. The SP chief said that both delhi and lucknow governments are responsible for this. I will not go to meet the victims because bjp will accuse me of doing politics. The government of india should also tell how much cooperation they have given. It is expected that the President's speech will also express condolences to the devotees who lost their lives.

He wrote that due to lack of information, people who have lost their loved ones in the maha Kumbh are getting worried that they have lost their family members forever. A simple solution to remove this fear is that the government should release the list of those who lost their lives in the maha Kumbh accident. If the dead are not identified, then their clothes, pictures etc. should be used for identification. This effort will eliminate fears and pilgrims will have the hope that their loved ones are definitely lost, but with good efforts, they will be found, if not today then tomorrow.
