Guru Govind Singh's birthday celebrated with great pomp!

The birthday of the tenth Sikh Guru Govind Singh Ji was celebrated with great pomp in Bharatpur. The Gurudwara located at Pai Bag was decorated with attractive lights. Apart from the Sikh community, other people also participated in the Kirtan Darbar. After the Shabad Kirtan, unbroken langar was served. Sardar Indrapal Singh Pale, head of Shri Guru Singh Sabha, said that the recitation of Akhand Path Sahib had started from january 2. Today, after the completion of Akhand Path Sahib, the congregation was connected with the Kirtan.

Bhai Gurudayal Singh, who came from Delhi, and Bhai Rajendra Singh Raju of Bharatpur connected the congregation with the Kirtan. The Kirtan darbar was organized from 11 am to 1.30 pm. Kirtan darbar was also organized at Gurudwara baba Natha Singh located at Chaudah Mahadev Gali on the completion of Akhand Path Sahib today. The Akhand Path Sahib had started from january 4. Sardar Inderpal Singh Pale congratulated the people on the occasion of Guru Govind Singh Ji's Prakash Parv.

Prakash Parv was celebrated in Bharatpur too

On the occasion of Prakash Parv, he remembered the sacrifice of Guru Govind Singh Ji. He said that Guru Govind Singh Ji took part in the war to protect religion. He neither sacrificed for the kingdom nor for wealth. On Prakash Parv, there was a continuous flow of devotees in the Gurudwaras throughout the day. Langar prasad was distributed among the devotees. The celebration of Prakash Parv was seen in all the Gurudwaras since morning.
