People of Vaishali got the gift of schemes worth Rs 276 crore!
chief minister Nitish Kumar yesterday gave a gift of Rs 276 crore 80 lakh to Vaishali district on monday (06 January) in the sequence of Pragati Yatra. The chief minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 344 developmental schemes through remote. This includes the inauguration of 118 schemes at a cost of Rs 113 crore 37 lakh and the foundation stone laying of 226 schemes at a cost of Rs 163 crore 43 lakh.
The chief minister released fish seeds in the pond
In the sequence of Pragati Yatra, the chief minister inspected the pond beautified under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan in Nagwan Gram panchayat located in Patedi Belsar block of Vaishali district and released fish seeds in the pond. During this, the chief minister said that this pond has been built in a very good manner. Under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan, we are renovating and beautifying public wells, ponds, pools etc. across Bihar. Water is very essential for life. Also, the chief minister provided the approval letter of initial amount of Rs 31 lakh 50 thousand to the concerned village organizations for the maintenance of these reservoirs and the key of Jeevika Poshan e-rickshaw to the Jeevika sisters.
The chief minister also inaugurated the adarsh Pustakalaya cum Career Development Center by unveiling its plaque. After the inauguration, he inspected the newly built adarsh Pustakalaya and got information about the available facilities. The chief minister visited the exhibition set up by Jeevika sisters and various departments in the premises of government Middle school Nagwan. During the observation, the chief minister gave a symbolic cheque of Rs 135 crore to 11 thousand 160 self-help groups, a symbolic cheque of Rs 4 crore 50 lakh to 1253 beneficiaries associated with Sustainable Livelihood Scheme and the acceptance letter of bihar Student Credit Card Scheme to the beneficiaries.
The chief minister said that whatever problems and requirements you have, they will be fulfilled. Jeevika Didi is doing a very good job all over Bihar. We gave the name Jeevika Didi to the women associated with self-help groups, do not forget it. Today the number of self-help groups in bihar has increased to more than 10 lakh, with 1 crore 31 lakh women associated with them. We have now started the work of connecting women to self-help groups in urban areas as well. There has been a lot of change in the condition of women by joining self-help groups.
