Himachal government's new order for teachers!
The education Department of himachal pradesh has banned the making of reels and videos in the schools and colleges of the state. This order letter has been issued by the director of education Department, Amardeep Kumar Sharma. It has been said in this order letter that, it has come to the notice that during school hours some teachers and staff are engaged in making such videos or reels, which do not contribute in any way to academic knowledge, sports, co-curricular, extracurricular activities or overall development of students. Such activities not only divert the attention of students from essential educational goals, but can also lead them towards unnecessary and potentially harmful use of social media in their early stages. Such activities only contribute to the waste of valuable time and energy.
Ban on making reels in educational institutions of Himachal
In this regard, it has been directed that making videos/reels and unwanted use of social media by teachers and staff should not be allowed in the school premises. Heads of institutions have been instructed to keep special vigil to prevent such activities on campus. Efforts should be made to motivate and actively engage both students and teachers in meaningful academic performance, personality building, institution building and above all nation building activities. Focus should be on channelizing the energy of students in sports, co-curricular, extracurricular and academic activities, so that they can become the best human beings and great citizens of the future.
police personnel are also banned from making reels in uniform
himachal pradesh police has also banned police personnel from making reels wearing uniform on May 27, 2024. himachal pradesh police has banned its personnel from making photos, videos and reels in uniform. In this regard, strict orders were issued by himachal pradesh director General of police Dr. Atul Verma. It came to the notice of the director General of police that some police officers or employees are posting photos, videos, reels and stories in uniform unrelated to police duty on social media platforms. This conduct was against the rules and norms of the police department. This seemed likely to have an adverse effect on the reputation of the department. The police uniform is a symbol of commitment, dedication and accountability to the public. In such a situation, making videos or reels in police uniform was banned. Similar orders have now been issued by the education Department as well.
