New journey of trains starts in Delhi with new timetable!

indian Railways has released the new timetable of trains, which will come into effect from today. In this new timetable, the numbers of 2,875 passenger trains have been changed, which include both express and passenger trains. This is the 44th edition of the new timetable of indian Railways (Trains at a Glance), which has come into effect from january 1. Earlier this change used to happen every year on 30 June, which was implemented from July 1. But last year the new timetable was implemented on october 1, which remained in force till 31 december 2024.

Change in train timings

In the new timetable, the time of departure of many trains from the station and reaching the destination has been changed. The time of express trains has been changed from five minutes to one hour and the time of passenger trains has been changed from five minutes to 20 minutes. The numbers of those trains will also change, whose numbers were earlier zeroed during Corona.

Vande Bharat trains also included

Vande Bharat trains have also been included in the new timetable. Also, 62 (31 pairs) such special trains have been included, whose operation was started last year. Apart from this, there are also 90 such trains, which have been partially canceled or their frequency has been reduced due to fog.

Extension of 46 pairs of trains

46 pairs of trains have been extended in the new timetable. Meaning they will be run to some stations beyond the destination fixed so far. The stoppage time of some trains has also been changed. It has also been told that 4,056 special trains will be run every year during festivals. Their routes are also mentioned in the timetable. Such as anand vihar (Delhi)- Chapra, anand vihar (Delhi)- Patna, Delhi- Gorakhpur, Mumbai- Ballia, Mumbai- Gorakhpur, Hyderabad- Gorakhpur, Secunderabad- Muzaffarpur, Secunderabad- Agartala, Hyderabad- Jaipur, Ajmer- Mumbai, Jaipur- Mumbai, Bikaner- Mumbai, Hisar- Tirupati, Ahmedabad- Tiruchirapalli etc.
