There is no hope of relief from fog and cold in delhi till january 5. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted haze and dense fog at most places. The department said that the sky is likely to remain clear later, while there is a possibility of haze or fog in the evening and night.
AQI very poor in Alipur
According to the delhi Real Time air Quality Index, on tuesday morning, AQI was recorded in the poor category in most areas. Alipur recorded the highest AQI of 319 which falls in the very poor category. The air quality in delhi was in the 'moderate' category at 178 at 9 am on Monday. According to the data of the sameer app, 10 centers recorded the air Quality Index (AQI) in the poor category. While in others it remained in the moderate category. The 24-hour AQI at 4 pm on sunday was 225, which is in the 'poor' category. According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity was 87 percent at 8.30 am on Monday. AQI is considered 'good' between zero to 50, 'satisfactory' between 51 to 100, 'moderate' between 101 to 200, 'bad' between 201 to 300, 'very bad' between 301 to 400 and 'severe' between 401 to 500.
