hemant Jain of firozabad (Firozabad News) got ownership rights of a 144 square feet shop located in Jayarajbhai Street, mumbai after a long struggle of 23 years. This shop was earlier believed to be of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. hemant Jain bought this shop in the auction of the Income Tax Department on 20 september 2001. However, even after the auction, he could not get possession of this property. Due to departmental procedures and obstacles of the local administration, this matter remained pending for years.
hemant Jain of firozabad had written letters to many officials including the Prime Minister's office to get this property in his name. In the year 2017, the file related to this matter was lost from the Registrar's office, after which he approached the court. With the continuous efforts of hemant and the support of his elder brother piyush Jain as well as MPs and leaders, finally on 19 december 2024, this property was registered in his name. But it was told that even now this shop is occupied by Dawood Ibrahim's henchmen.
