New Delhi: According to a post-election survey conducted by Matrize, the main reasons why people in maharashtra and haryana supported the Bharatiya Janaya party (BJP) were PM Modi's popularity, faith in his administration, and catchphrases like "Ek Hai Toh Safe Hai" and "Batenge To Katenge."

The poll also showed that a sizable portion of people believed it was a mistake to not vote for the bjp in the Lok Sabha. In maharashtra and haryana, Matrize conducted a post-election opinion poll because the bjp won both states just six months after the lok sabha elections, but the INDI bloc outperformed it.

The lok sabha results improved PM Modi's popularity.

After the bjp won 240 seats in the lok sabha elections earlier in June, more than half of the respondents in both maharashtra and haryana states felt that prime minister Narendra Modi's popularity had grown, according to the Matrize Opinion Poll.

According to the poll, respondents in both states favoured the bharatiya janata party mostly because of PM Modi's appearance.According to the report, the popularity of prime minister Modi led up to 54% of voters in maharashtra and 52% in haryana to support the BJP.

"Ek Hai Toh Safe Hai" is a catchphrase.

Matrize According to a maharashtra opinion poll with 76,830 participants, PM Modi's catchphrase, "Ek Hai Toh Safe Hai," was the deciding factor for voters. According to the survey, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath's phrase "Batenge Toh Katenge" also drew in over 25% of the participants.

Furthermore, according to 24% of the respondents, the uncertainty around election symbols and candidates prevented them from voting for the bjp in Maharashtra.

Following the election results, more than 40% of people believe that maharashtra chief minister devendra fadnavis is now more popular.

Voters feel it was a mistake to not support the bjp in the Lok Sabha.

Up to 52% of respondents in haryana believed that it was a mistake to not back the bjp in the lok sabha elections following the saffron party's victory in the assembly election.

What did congress not succeed with?

According to the Matrize Opinion Poll, haryana voters lacked faith in rahul gandhi and the Congress' claim that the Modi government was the objective of a constitutional amendment.

'Kiran, Jawan aur Pehalwan' was another congress slogan that failed to resonate with people.
