Fadnavis Government issued contract to set up a 13-storey Bhakt Niwas in Ayodhya

Reportedly the devendra fadnavis government of maharashtra has issued a contract to set up a 13-storey Bhakt Niwas in ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The maharashtra government has awarded a contract of Rs 119.50 crore to Mumbai-based Generic Engineering Construction and Projects Limited (GECPL) for the construction of maharashtra Bhavan in ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The 13-storey maharashtra Bhavan, which will be called Bhakt Niwas. It is being constructed to provide accommodation for ram devotees of Maharashtra. The Uttar Pradesh government has allotted two acres of land for this near the ram temple in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile the construction is expected to be completed within the next three years. Last August, the maharashtra Public Works Department (PWD) issued a tender for the construction of maharashtra Bhavan. There is a plan to provide accommodation, food and other facilities to the devotees at a nominal price with state-of-the-art facilities in Ayodhya.

Moreover two companies Nirmiti Buildcon and GECPL participated in the tender, with Nirmiti bidding Rs 120.04 crore and GECPL bidding Rs 119.50 crore. In march this year, the state cabinet approved the purchase of a 9,420.55 sq m plot in ayodhya for Rs 67.14 crore for the construction of maharashtra Bhavan. The plot is located in the Greenfield Township of Sector 8 in Ayodhya. An official said, "Maharashtra Bhavan will be equipped with modern facilities, which will provide a comfortable experience to the devotees at an affordable price.'' During his maharashtra visit in 2023, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath had accepted the request of chief minister Eknath Shinde and promised that land would be allotted in ayodhya for maharashtra Bhavan near ram Mandir.
