According to sources assam Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that serving and eating beef in hotels, restaurants, public places in the state will be banned. After his decision, there has been a political uproar. There is a sharp reaction from the opposition parties on this. At the same time, Samajwadi Party's Kairana mp Iqra Hasan also termed the assam government's decision as dictatorial and said that it is a violation of the Constitution.

Meanwhile the Kairana mp said that the decision taken by the assam government is an interference in private life, against the provisions of the Constitution. Iqra said that this is a direct violation of the Right to Freedom. If governments interfere in private life in this way, then there are people of different religions in this country. This is the beauty of our country. If we start banning everything, then we are moving towards dictatorship. Then we cannot call ourselves democratic. Actually, the Himanta Biswa Sarma government of assam has taken a big decision regarding beef. Under this, from now on, serving beef in any hotel or restaurant in the state has been banned. Along with this, serving beef in any public place has also been banned. The cm of assam is often in the headlines for his such decisions.

Moreover SP mp Iqra Hasan has become an mp by winning the election for the first time. She is one of the youngest MPs but is known for her very measured response on all issues. On wednesday also, she gave a statement regarding rahul Gandhi's visit to sambhal and questioned the intentions of the bjp government, she said that whatever the bjp government is doing in UP, questions are being raised on their intentions that what is it that even the public representatives are not being allowed to go to Sambhal. Iqra said that we just want to know what incident has happened there and who are the people behind it. But the way the government is stopping people from going, the government's intentions seem wrong, as if they are trying to hide something.
