Horrific road accident bus overturned, 9 people died
A horrific road accident took place in Gondia, maharashtra on Friday. 9 people have died due to a bus overturning here. The death toll is expected to increase. After getting information about the incident, acting cm Eknath Shinde has ordered the transport administration to provide immediate assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the victims. A terrible accident of Shivshahi bus took place while trying to save a bike near village Khajri on Gondia Kohamara State Highway. This is a bus of maharashtra Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). Passengers died after being crushed by the bus when it overturned. According to the information received, the incident took place on november 29 between 12:00 and 12:30 pm.

A bike suddenly came in front of Shivshahi bus (number MH 09/EM 1273) going from Bhandaara to Gondia via Sakoli Lakhani. The driver took a cut to save the bike rider, due to which the speeding bus overturned. At the time of the accident, there were more than 35 passengers in the bus, out of which nine people have died. The death toll is expected to increase. Some people have been seriously injured in the incident.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus driver has fled from the spot. On the information of passersby, people from the ambulance department and police department reached the spot. The injured passengers have been taken out and admitted to the district government KTS hospital in Gondia for treatment. The help of a crane is being taken to lift the bus. The police has started investigating the matter.

devendra fadnavis has tweeted on this incident. He wrote, "It is very unfortunate that a Shivshahi bus met with an accident near Sadak Arjuni in Gondia district and some passengers died. I pay my heartfelt tribute to the deceased. If the injured in this accident need to be treated in a private hospital, they have been instructed to do so immediately. I have also asked the collector of Gondia to make arrangements to transfer them to nagpur if necessary."
