Reportedly after the bumper victory of Mahayuti in maharashtra, preparations are on for the formation of the government. It has not been decided yet who will lead the Mahayuti government in the state. There are also speculations that the selection of cm of maharashtra can be surprising like madhya pradesh and Rajasthan. On this question, bjp leader chandrakant patil said that the top leadership of the party has 10,000 eyes and 20,000 ears and it does all kinds of experiments. According to the PTI report, when asked whether a first-time mla can be made the CM? Patil said, "He does not know anything about it. bjp is always looking for a new generation (leadership) and this is the reason why the party does all such experiments. ''

Perhaps he further said, ''Whether it is distribution of tickets, the party is always looking for new leadership. This is the specialty of the party. I do not know whether the party will take any decision in maharashtra on the lines of the decision taken in rajasthan and MP. We are in a mental state to let the party leadership decide what decision they want to take.''

Moreover the newly elected mla from Kothrud in pune district further said, ''I went to mumbai several times after the election results and met Devendra Fadnavis, Chandrashekhar Bawankule but these meetings were about election analysis.'' Patil stressed, ''I never asked which post or any other responsibility they are going to give me.'' It is worth noting that despite senior party leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan being a strong contender in madhya pradesh, bjp chose Mohan Yadav as CM. In rajasthan, the party sidelined stalwarts like vasundhara raje and gave the responsibility of the Chief Minister's post to Bhajan Lal Sharma. However, the equation in maharashtra is different. Here the Mahayuti alliance contested the elections which included bjp, Eknath Shinde's shiv sena and Ajit Pawar-led NCP. It is almost clear that there will be a cm from BJP. Mahayuti leaders claim that a decision regarding the name will be taken soon.
