HC reserves decision on anticipatory bail plea of former IAS
The delhi High court has reserved its decision on the anticipatory bail plea of former IAS pooja Khedkar. delhi police has registered a criminal case against pooja Khedkar. pooja is accused of cheating in the Civil services Examination, making illegal claims to avail the benefits of OBC and Divyang quota. pooja Khedkar is a former IAS officer of 2023 batch. She got 822nd ranking in the UPSC examination. Despite this, she was selected for IAS. For IAS ranking, she had given disability and OBC certificate. Which is being questioned. It is being told that she had given the exam on the basis of fake documents.
UPSC had canceled the candidature
Amidst the controversies, the central government had removed her from the administrative service. At the same time, in the month of July, UPSC canceled her candidature. Along with this, she was also deprived of future examinations. It is being told that she had given the exam in the name of pooja Diliprao Khedkar in 2020-21. In 2021-22, she gave the exam in OBC and Divyang quota, then she gave the exam in the name of pooja manorama Dilip Khedkar.
Used more attempts than the prescribed limit
A maximum of 9 attempts can be made in the Divyang category but she had made more attempts than that. After all this information came to light, a case of fraud and forgery was started against Pooja. pooja then knocked the door of the court.
