Chhotu Kharwar's terror ends in Jharkhand

Maoist commander Chhotu Kharwar was killed near Bhimpav forest under Chhipadohar police station area of Latehar district. Palamu DIG YS Ramesh has confirmed this. DIG says that Maoist Chhotu Kharwar was killed in a mutual dispute. However, the entire matter is being investigated by the police. Only after this will the reason for the murder be clear.

Actually, there was a rivalry between the Maoists for some days. It is said that on tuesday night Maoist Naxalites had gathered in Bhimpav forest for a settlement. Meanwhile, the dispute escalated and the Maoists got entangled with each other. During this, a Maoist shot and killed Chhotu Kharwar.

After the incident, other Naxalites fled from the spot leaving the body of the deceased in the forest. In this regard, Palamu DIG YS Ramesh said that the body found in the forest is that of Maoist Chhotu Kharwar. The police is investigating the entire matter. Clear information about the case will be available only after the investigation is completed.

Chhotu Kharwar was a notorious Maoist. A reward of Rs 15 lakh has also been announced on him. Chhotu Kharwar was the biggest leader of the Maoists in this area. Dozens of cases of Naxalite violence are registered against Chhotu Kharwar in various police station areas of Latehar as well as other nearby districts. The name of Chhotu Kharwar used to create an atmosphere of terror among the people.

It is worth noting that jamshedpur District police has prepared a plan to stop organized crimes in Jharkhand, under which a list of those who meet gangsters and Naxalites is being prepared. At the same time, a special team is also to be formed to monitor the criminals lodged in jail.
