'Do a survey, give it to the place where it belongs...' Rakesh

S Venkateshwari

Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait reached the worker meeting of Bharatiya Kisan Union in Sahaswan, Badaun on Sunday. Here he was warmly welcomed by the BKU workers. During this, the farmer leader addressed the press conference and reacted to the incident of sambhal in Uttar Pradesh and the issue of DAP fertilizer.

Reporters questioned Rakesh Tikait about the ruckus over the survey of Sambhal's Jama Masjid. In response to which he said that the team should be allowed to conduct the survey in a peaceful manner. We say that do the survey, give it to the place where it belongs. The problem of DAP fertilizer is being seen not only in the district but in the entire state, every year when the time for sowing wheat comes, farmers data-face the problem of DAP. What steps will the Kisan Union take for this. In response to this question, he said that DAP is in the stomach of the government, officer and businessman. DAP will be available in the shop of the trader. Whoever is caught doing black marketing, arrest him. We should also stay away from this disease of DAP. Was there DAP 40 years ago? Our ancestors did farming without DAP. The problem will increase in the coming time. We will gradually have to move towards our organic farming. This is the solution.

Will protest on 26th november - Rakesh Tikait

In response to another question, he said that we will protest in every district headquarters on 26th. There will be questions related to land acquisition, auction of farmer's land, DAP, price of crops, MSP law.

Apart from this, he said that the government should bring a population control law. It should have come in the year 2014. But they will not bring it. By the coming 2050, there will be a population explosion. Environmental problems will increase, the number of vehicles will increase and pollution will increase. First of all, a population control law should be brought. This country belongs to all of us, it is everyone's responsibility to plant trees and control the population. Taking a dig at the bjp government, he said that this country has to be made a labor country. The indian government has a campaign running on that.
