A debate broke out between two entrepreneurs over a job post on social media platform X. Shaadi.com CEO and Shark Tank judge anupam mittal has commented jokingly on zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal's job listing without salary.

Recently, zomato CEO Goyal sparked a debate on social media after advertising for the Chief of Staff role on X. According to the job profile, the selected candidate will have to donate Rs 20 lakh to the Feeding india charity and work without salary for the first year. Despite the terms of the unconventional job offer, Goyal received around 18,000 applications for the job after posting it.

However, Shaadi.com CEO Mittal responded to this incident with a sarcastic post on LinkedIn. Mittal also announced that he is looking for a Chief of Staff. He jokingly admitted that he did not fully understand the role, but assured the applicants that his offer includes salary from day one. Mittal wrote, "Those who are not able to pay Rs 20 lakh to my friend Deepi, send me your application. I am also looking for a Chief of Staff, though I don't know exactly what he does, I think this could be your first assignment. He also included other conditions for interested candidates.
As per his conditions, candidates should be ready to do the below points -
Accept compensation from day one... This requirement is negotiable.
Send your resume (if you haven't done anything yet, then what's next)
Describe the role and value so that I can prepare for interview questions
Talk to our HR team as I don't get paid for screening candidates
He further said, "Carry the title of Chiefofwhat? Keep the title for 6 months (thick skin test)
Mittal requested the candidates to apply before they change their mind. Mittal further said, "If you are ready to walk this path, Are you ready to be ridiculed by the mob in the hope that we will someday join them and find out if you are really the Chief of something?
