Two arrested in 'vote jihad' case, accused of buying votes!
In the maharashtra assembly elections, bjp has accused the Mahavikas Aghadi of doing vote jihad. Along with this, bjp has also claimed funding of crores for vote jihad. Meanwhile, Malegaon police on wednesday (13 November) arrested the main mastermind Siraj Mohammad and Nashik Merchant Cooperative bank branch manager deepak Nikam.
In fact, bjp leader Kirit Somaiya claimed that Rs 125 crore came into different bank accounts through benami hawala in Malegaon bank and then cash was withdrawn by transferring it to different accounts. Somaiya alleged that money is coming for vote jihad! A few days ago, a benami hawala transaction of Rs 250 crore was revealed in Malegaon.
2500 transactions in a month
He also claimed that in a month, 2500 transactions were done from 200 bank accounts across the country to transfer money. Kirit alleged that Siraj ahmed and Moin Khan, residents of Malegaon, opened bank accounts of poor people and deposited Rs 125 crore in them in four days. Later, it was transferred to 37 accounts and then cash was immediately withdrawn from them.
FIR was registered on november 7
In this regard, BJP's Kirit Somaiya has filed written complaints to the election Commission, ED, CBI, CBDT, RBI and demanded an investigation. On november 7, an FIR was registered in this regard at the Cantonment police station of Malegaon. Kirit further claimed that he suspected that this money came from abroad. For this, accounts were opened for 17 poor people of Malegaon and their accounts were used.
