Delhi Police got success, arrested inter-state vehicle thief!
The Anti auto Theft Squad of Shahdara district police of delhi has exposed an inter-state gang that steals luxury vehicles. By running a campaign, delhi police has succeeded in arresting the notorious vehicle thief. The accused has been identified as Keshav alias Bhanu. The notorious vehicle thief is a resident of Etawah in UP. A dozen serious cases like gangster Act, Arms Act and attempt to murder are already going on against him. He has also been shot during an encounter with UP Police.
DCP prashant Gautam said that to curb the ever-increasing incidents of car theft in the district, a team was formed under the supervision of ACP ram shankar Gotwal and leadership of SI ram Kumar to arrest the vehicle thieves. This team was engaged in developing information about the vehicle thieves through its sources.
This is how the inter-state vehicle thief was caught
On october 17, the police received a specific information from secret sources, in which they came to know that vehicle thieves active in delhi are present near Deer Park in Seemapuri with a white maruti Swift car with UP number. On this information, the police team immediately reached the spot and caught two suspects in the car.
Used to steal luxury vehicles from these areas
During interrogation, the accused confessed his crime and told that due to poverty he had to leave his studies. After which he started stealing vehicles. He revealed that he used to steal vehicles in Delhi-NCR along with his accomplices, which he used to sell further. The accused told that after stealing the Swift car from Noida, he used the same car to steal a Scorpio from vivek Vihar. Which he handed over to his accomplice in Etawah. police is searching for him.
