Bahraich incident is government's failure: Legal Advisor
Recently the karnataka High court has quashed the case registered against two youths for inciting religious sentiments by chanting jai Shri Ram. The court said that it is not a crime to chant jai Shri ram inside a mosque. On this, Maulana Kabab Rashidi, legal advisor of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind UP, said that this is ridiculous, we do not agree with this decision of the court, we are considering with our legal panel for further legal action in this matter.
Meanwhile he asked, will it be accepted if I chant Allah Hu Akbar inside a religious place of another religion? politics of religious frenzy is happening in our country these days and such slogans are being justified. How is it being justified. I completely disagree with this. We will take appropriate action further in this matter. Moreover he termed the incident in bahraich as a failure of law and order and said that the administration should have taken effective action in this, which was not done. This is the failure of the state government. He said that the state government should compensate the victims from both sides. people whose houses were broken, looted and set on fire should also be compensated. Whoever has lost his life. It is sad, this should not happen. The people responsible for the incident should be brought to justice.
Also he said that today the delegation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind will reach bahraich and a report will be prepared from there and sent to our state and central leadership. After that we will work on the bahraich incident with a further strategy. He said that it is a question that whenever elections come, such religious frenzy is spread in the country. This is not a coincidence but an experiment. Such incidents are carried out, governments should stop such incidents, only then we can celebrate the festival of democracy properly.
