When the MDA team reached with a bulldozer to stop the Ramlila being organized on MDA land in Kanshi ram Nagar Colony without the NOC of MDA. On the information of the Ramlila Committee, bjp mla Ritesh Gupta also reached the spot and accused the MDA officials of removing the Ramlila with a bulldozer and reprimanded them fiercely, calling them anti-Hindu. Seeing the attitude of the bjp mla, the MDA team returned without taking any action.
Moreover the entire incident started on tuesday afternoon. It was the last day of Ramlila performance in Kanshiram Colony in Sonakpur. Ravana Dahan was to take place here at night. But the MDA team, which arrived in the afternoon, drove the Ramlila committee away from the spot. They asked the people to vacate the ground by removing the stage and the effigy of Ravana. On this, the people of the Ramlila committee called the city MLA. The city mla first called the VC and then reached the spot himself. The mla went to the spot and reprimanded the team of AE-JE of MDA. He asked the authority team to leave the spot immediately. But the MDA team did not move from there. The MDA team said that they have orders to vacate this place and they will not allow Ramlila to take place here. The mla told the team that it is the last day of Ramlila. Let the effigy of Ravana be burnt, but the authority team did not listen to the MLA. Meanwhile, officials from the district administration also reached the spot. The city magistrate and police officials tried to set the atmosphere right on the spot.
