Malviya nagar councilor Sarita Phogat has returned to the Aam Aadmi Party. Former deputy cm Manish Sisodia himself has given this information on social media. Manish, while claiming 'X', wrote, "Malviya nagar councilor sister Sarita Phogat has left bjp and returned to the aam aadmi party family. She has been a hard-working worker of the party since the inception of AAP and today she has started working with the resolve to make arvind kejriwal sit on the Chief Minister's chair again."

Manish Sisodia has also shared a picture of his meeting with Sarita Phogat on social media. Let us tell you that last month, a day before the election of the members of the Standing Committee of MCD, three AAP councilors changed sides and joined BJP. Due to this, the number of AAP councilors had come down to 124. AAP councillor Preeti from Dilshad Colony, Sarita Phogat from Malviya nagar and praveen Kumar from Madanpur Khadar east had joined BJP.

At that time, BJP's state president Virendra Sachdeva had told the press that these leaders had left AAP due to non-fulfillment of promises made to the public and increasing corruption. But within 20 days of this incident, Sarita Phogat left BJP.

Councillor Ramchandra also rejoined AAP

Meanwhile, in August, another councillor had returned to AAP. Councillor Ramchandra from ward number 28 returned home after just four days. Ramchandra had said that when he realised his mistake, he contacted senior AAP leaders and expressed his desire to return.
