Tainted and corrupt officers will be retired!

The Modi government is preparing to identify corrupt and lazy officers and employees in its third term and force them to retire. prime minister Narendra Modi has instructed ministers and secretaries to work in mission mode to ensure transparency in the functioning of ministries. This instruction was given in the meeting of the Council of Ministers, where PM Modi emphadata-sized on intensifying the campaign against corruption.

Citing the Central Civil services (CCS) rules, prime minister Modi has instructed the Union Secretaries to evaluate the employees and take prompt action against those who complain against them. He has also emphadata-sized that the public rewards the honest and working government in the elections. Citing the electoral success of the bjp in haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, he emphadata-sized on quick resolution of public grievances and better governance.

'Grievances should be resolved immediately'

According to sources, Modi has instructed officers and ministers to ensure that files are not pushed from one desk to another, but they should be resolved quickly. The PM has also asked officials to dedicate one day a week to resolving complaints and monitoring the progress of state ministers. He also said that officers and employees working in ministries should work towards making people's lives easier. Complaints should be acted upon promptly.

'People have hope from this government'

Modi has said that officers and employees who are identified as corrupt or lazy should be removed from service. Sources said Modi said that in the last 10 years, the PMO received 4.5 crore letters including complaints from people, while only 5 lakh such letters were received in the last five years of manmohan Singh's tenure.
