In the lok sabha elections in UP, Samajwadi party and congress party had an alliance under india Alliance, after that in the state elections of Jammu kashmir and haryana being held in the country, Samajwadi party was hopeful that congress party will give it some seat. But in haryana, congress party did not give it any seat, but showing a big heart, Samajwadi party supported congress here, but in the desire to get the status of a national party, Samajwadi party decided to contest the elections alone in Jammu Kashmir.

Samajwadi party had contested on 20 seats in Jammu Kashmir. On these 20 seats, Samajwadi party had given opportunity to most of the young data-faces. On all the 20 seats on which Samajwadi party had contested the elections in Jammu kashmir, its deposit has been forfeited. In Jammu kashmir, SP has lagged behind BSP. SP got 0.14 percent votes and BSP got 0.96 percent votes.

Let us tell you in detail about the results of the 20 seats on which Samajwadi party contested elections. shahid Hasan lost by 18548 votes after getting 342 votes from Hazratbal seat, Ghazanfar Maqbool Shah lost by 35754 votes after getting 256 votes from Budgam seat, Nisar ahmed Dar lost by 19751 votes after getting 364 votes from Beerwah seat, Muhammad Farooq Khan lost by 12337 votes after getting 100 votes from Habakdal, Mehraj Uddin lost by 7590 votes after getting 110 votes from Idgah, Manzoor ahmed lost by 21919 votes after getting 604 votes from Baramulla seat.
