Traffic diversions in Delhi during Navaratri
Reportedly in view of the Ramlila program to be held at the red Fort in delhi, traffic restrictions will be imposed on Subhash Marg in Central delhi for nine days from friday (October 4). In the advisory issued by the traffic police, it has been said that like every year, this time too, a large number of people are expected to come due to the Ramlila event going on at the red Fort. delhi Traffic police has informed through a post on X that special arrangements have been made regarding traffic in view of navratri from october 3 to 13. In such a situation, Delhiites should follow the traffic advisory to avoid jam. According to the delhi police Traffic Advisory, due to this, to run the traffic system smoothly around the red Fort, the movement of all vehicles on Lower Subhash Marg has been banned from october 4 to october 12 from 5 pm to 12.30 pm.
Meanwhile the traffic advisory also states that DTC and cluster buses, heavy and commercial vehicles have been banned on Upper Subhash Marg from delhi Gate to Chhatta rail for the same period. If you are going to Jhandewalan Temple, then you may have to data-face heavy traffic jams on Rani jhansi Road, Faiz Road, New rohtak Road and DBG Road.
Moreover during navratri, one to one and a half lakh devotees come to Kalkaji Mata Ka Mandir area for darshan every day. In such a situation, due to the large number of crowd, there is a problem related to traffic during navratri here. According to the traffic advisory, there will also be traffic on the Outer Ring Road from Nehru Place to Modi Mill in this area. In Chhatarpur area of delhi, there will be traffic on Chhatarpur Mandir Road, CDR Chowk, Mandi Village, 100 Foota Road, 60 Foota Road, Main Chhatarpur Road, Y Point. delhi police has advised passengers going to IGI Airport, ISBT, New delhi railway station, Old delhi railway station, Nizamuddin railway station to leave home early so that there is no delay in catching the flight or train.
