First phase of the underground metro in Mumbai is complete!!!
After Atal Setu and Coastal Road, the people of mumbai are now going to get the first underground metro of the state. This underground metro will also be known as aqua Line or Colaba-Bandra-Seepz Metro Line-3 line. It will be 33.5 km long after completion and will have 27 stations from Cuffe Parade to Aarey Colony. The first phase of this underground metro station will be inaugurated soon by PM narendra Modi.
mumbai Metro rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) is looking after its construction work. The construction plan of this metro line was approved in 2018 at a cost of Rs 23,136 crore. The work on the first phase of the aqua Line has been completed. This metro will soon be run between the 12.5 km long Aarey Colony and Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) as soon as the train operation gets safety clearance.
According to official sources, MMRCL has completed 100 percent work on the Aarey-BKC route under the first phase. The line and tunnel work has been completed here, while the construction of the metro station has been completed up to 98.6%. The first phase of the corridor has the capacity to carry six and a half lakh passengers per day. However, after the completion of all the phases, it will have the capacity to carry 17 lakh passengers every day. Let us tell you that this is the first metro corridor in mumbai, in which 26 out of 27 stations are underground.

mumbai Metro Line-3 includes Aarey Colony, SEEPZ, MIDC, Marol Naka, CSMIA T2 (Airport), Sahar Road, CSMIA T1, Santacruz, Vidyanagari, Shitladevi Temple, Dharavi, Dadar, Siddhivinayak Temple, Worli, acharya Atreya Chowk, Science Museum, Mahalaxmi, mumbai Central, Grant Road, Girgaon, Kalbadevi, Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Hutatma Chowk, Churchgate Vidhan Bhavan Station.
The ticket price in mumbai Metro Line-3 starts from Rs 10 and goes up to Rs 70. Also, passengers have the option of making post-paid and pre-paid payments through smart cards. They will also be able to pay the ticket fare using the QR code on their smartphone. It is being told that a plan has been made to make 96 trips daily between Aarey and BKC through eight pairs of trains. This service will be made available from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm. Only on Sundays, the first service will start at 8 am instead of 6.30 am.
