Former chief minister Digvijay Singh said that there have been 31 such cases in which the government did not take action seriously. Digvijay Singh mentioned the case of Khurai in Sagar district, where the son of a bjp leader has been accused of rape. Digvijay Singh alleges that here too, instead of giving strict punishment to the culprits, bjp is protecting them. Apart from the former chief minister, many veteran leaders have made allegations through Speak Up for Women.

According to State congress Committee President Jitu Patwari, the movement has started from gandhi Jayanti. On october 5, youth congress will run a public awareness campaign by taking out a torch procession. Apart from this, Mahila congress will hold a candle march on october 7. In this series, block level fast and Kanya Pujan will be done on october 8. This movement will continue with Beti Bachao memorandum on october 14, while on october 16, state level memorandum and fast will be held. After this, congress Committee will call for madhya pradesh Bandh.
