The bjp reminded congress of past events when manmohan singh hosted an Iftar party attended by Chief Justice KG Balakrishnan in 2009. shiv sena MP Milind Deora criticized congress for objecting to Modi's Ganapati Aarti while allowing such events in the past.

At a recent Sambhaji Brigade anniversary event, patron sharad pawar and congress MP Shahu Maharaj were present when derogatory remarks were made about Hindu deities. Prabhu Sri Ramachandra and Swami Samarth were criticized for using crude language. sharad pawar and Shahu Maharaj were seen laughing during these remarks.

Sharad Pawar visited the raja of Lalbagh the next day, possibly realizing the gravity of the situation. Critics noted that while he regularly attends Iftar parties, he has never been seen at Raigad or participating in Wari.

The reactions from various political parties like congress, Trinamool congress, Samajwadi party, National Conference, Aam Aadmi party, and others relying on fatwas for votes pose a significant threat to Hindus.

"The number of Varakas increased from eight lakhs to eleven lakhs as Gopal Badwa performed Lagushanka in the tirthkunda," was one of the controversial statements made by Gyanesh Maharao at the event. Such remarks have deeply hurt Hindu sentiments.
