madhya pradesh bjp President VD Sharma has claimed that 25 crore people came out of poverty line during PM Modi's tenure. Today (Tuesday) VD Sharma was addressing a press conference in Bhopal. Criticizing the congress, he gave details of the development work done under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi.
VD Sharma said that 25 crore people have come out of poverty line during PM Modi's tenure. He described "Seva Pakhwada" as an important initiative towards social service and development. The state president said, "PM Modi never rested. He worked despite all obstacles. Projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore have been started in the third term, including 8 new rail projects." He said that madhya pradesh has got a new rail track for tribal development. An amount of Rs 3 lakh crore has been sent to the accounts of farmers.
VD Sharma also mentioned the decision to reduce export duty on onion from 40 percent to 20 percent, implementation of Unified Pension Scheme, providing housing to 4 crore poor and approval of 3 crore houses. He said that more than 90 lakh self-help groups have been formed by connecting 10 crore women and more than 1 crore women have fulfilled their dream of becoming lakhpati.
