What did CM Mohan Yadav say on the birth centenary?
Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav made a big announcement today on friday (13 September). Under this, a meeting of the madhya pradesh Council of Ministers will be held in Maheshwar to express respect to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar on her 300th birth centenary year. On this occasion, cm Mohan Yadav said that a research bench will be established in Devi Ahilyabai university Indore to research on Devi Ahilya's love for justice, innovation in governance and administration, public welfare and her entire personality and work.

Chief minister Mohan Yadav said that a campaign will be launched to collect historical material related to Devi Ahilya. He announced that the battalion of madhya pradesh police will also be named after Devi Ahilyabai. chief minister Dr Mohan Yadav said this while addressing the meeting of the function committee constituted for the organization of the 300th birth centenary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar at the Sushasan Bhawan.

Deputy chief minister Jagdish Devda, Urban Development and Housing minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, panchayat and Rural Development minister Prahlad Patel, Transport and school Education minister Uday Pratap Singh, Chief Secretary Veera Rana and officials of various departments were present in this meeting.
'Lokmata encouraged widow marriage'
Chief minister Dr. Yadav said that Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai built temples, ghats, wells and stepwells at famous pilgrimages and religious places outside the boundaries of her state and also operated Anna Kshetra. Her reign is famous for justice. cm Mohan Yadav said, "The work done by Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai for women empowerment is still relevant today. The impression of her best, excellent and religious qualities is present in the indian psyche." Addressing the meeting, cm Yadav said, "The work done by him in the field of women empowerment by encouraging widow remarriage and khasgi pratha are ideal examples. By connecting local women to making Maheshwari sarees, he paved the way for economic self-reliance of women."
