Election for Haryana’s rajya sabha seat on Sept 3…

elections will be held on september 3 for one rajya sabha seat in Haryana. It is not clear which leader the ruling bjp will nominate from here, but Union minister Ravneet Singh Bittu is considered to be at the forefront in this race. Bittu's name is also being considered ahead because even after losing the lok sabha elections, he has been given a ministerial post, so in such a situation, membership of parliament within 6 months is necessary for him.

However, kiran Chaudhary, who recently left congress and joined bjp, is also in this race. The names of four bjp leaders from haryana are being discussed. Haryana's rajya sabha seat has fallen vacant due to Deepender Singh Hooda winning the lok sabha elections from Rohtak. The nomination process has started in haryana from august 14. This process will continue till august 21.

Will bjp be able to reach the required figure? However, there is still uncertainty about the bjp candidate because there are many interested data-faces in bjp to go to Rajya Sabha. On the other hand, there are currently 87 MLAs in the assembly of 90 MLAs, so to win the rajya sabha election, votes of 44 MLAs will be needed. bjp has 41 MLAs while bjp also has the support of an independent mla Gopal Kanda. Also, 2-3 MLAs of JJP can rebel and vote for the bjp candidate because whip does not work in rajya sabha elections.

elections are also on these seats
