Late chief minister of andhra pradesh YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Just one padayatra changed the entire career. It was done in the year 2003 by late chief minister YS Rajasekhar reddy in united Andhra Pradesh. Not only did his career grow exponentially due to that one padayatra, but he also became the chief minister twice in a row. Till the year 2003, the farmers in the state of andhra pradesh data-faced many problems. It is known that there was Chandrababu's government then. At that time, electricity was cut and farmers also had to pay electricity bills. andhra pradesh farmers even committed suicide because they could not pay the loans they got from the banks. At exactly the same time on 9th april 2003, YS Rajasekhar reddy started the march.
 YS Rajasekhar Reddy's Padayatra was started in Chevella, the home constituency of Sabita indra Reddy. Almost all the districts in andhra pradesh were covered for 60 days. Rajasekhar Reddy's padayatra was done. Rajasekhar reddy brought the congress party to power in the year 2004 by giving many promises like loan waiver, free electricity, low-interest loans to farmers, and minimum support prices. And as said before the election, all the promises have been implemented. YS Rajasekhar reddy became the chief minister again in 2009. YS Rajasekhar reddy single-handedly won the congress despite the formation of the grand coalition. After that, Padayatra became very common in both telugu states. All the leaders believed in Padayatra and became very successful. Especially, Jaganmohan reddy came to power in ap in the 2019 election by marching.
