Narendra Modi has become the prime minister of the country for the third consecutive time. President draupadi murmu administered him the oath of office and secrecy in a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Meanwhile, gujarat bjp mp and former Union minister Parshottam Rupala has not got a place in the new central government. He did not get an invitation for the swearing-in ceremony. Many bjp MPs from gujarat have been sworn in as ministers but Parshottam Rupala has not been repeated.

Amit Shah and Mansukh Mandaviya, CR Patil from gujarat quota took oath as ministers in the Modi cabinet. Shah has won from Gandhinagar seat for the second consecutive time. This time he broke his own old record and won by 7 lakh 44 thousand 716 votes. Mansukh Mandaviya contested from Porbandar lok sabha seat of Gujarat. He defeated congress candidate Lalit Vasoya by 3 lakh 80 thousand 285 votes.

Parshottam Rupala out of Modi cabinet

bjp mp Parshottam Rupala has been shown the way out of Modi cabinet, he was not included in the new government. He contested the election as a bjp candidate from rajkot lok sabha seat and won with a big margin. During the campaign for the lok sabha elections, Rupala came into controversy when he made a statement against the Rajputs. Despite the kshatriya movement and the opposition of the Rajputs, he won by 4 lakh 84 thousand 260 votes. Parshottam Rupala defeated congress candidate and former mla Paresh Dhanani in the election. This is being described as the biggest victory so far from the rajkot lok sabha seat.

Rupala had commented on the kshatriya community

It is worth noting that before the lok sabha elections, the kshatriya community had protested fiercely in different parts of gujarat over Rupala's comment about the former rulers. However, later Rupala apologized to the kshatriya community for his controversial statement. During that time, there was a lot of anger in the kshatriya community and many leaders had demanded to give the ticket to someone else instead of Rupala. However, bjp did not change the ticket on this seat. Later, the Rajputs intensified their agitation.
