12 candidates are in the electoral fray in hamirpur parliamentary constituency, five in shimla parliamentary constituency, 10 in Mandi parliamentary constituency and 10 in kangra parliamentary constituency. The main contest on all four lok sabha seats of himachal pradesh is between congress and Bharatiya Janata Party. On the other hand, if we talk about the by-elections held on six seats of himachal pradesh assembly, then four candidates are in the electoral fray in Dharamshala, three in Lahaul Spiti, six in Sujanpur, four in Kutlehad, five in Gagret and three in Barsar.
